Essential Quality, Hot Rod Charlie, and Rock Your World prefer to be in the front of the race, maintaining a fast pace. On the other hand, Rombauer and Known Agenda are skilled at closely following the leaders and may choose to make their move towards the end of the race.
No one in this field has ever completed a 1 1/2-mile run. It is likely that the field will engage in a controlled gallop, as the jockeys aim to conserve energy for their horses’ long-stretch run.
